Prof. & HOD

Greetings from the EEE department,

Electrical and Electronics Engineering is one of the core branches of engineering which has driven the world of technology to excellence. It has its applications in almost all branches of engineering. With rapid industrial growth in the country, the requirement for electrical engineers has tremendously increased in the power sector, industries, private and Government companies. This has resulted in the opening of enormous opportunities for graduate electrical engineers.
With the objectives of transforming our students into efficient and capable technical professionals, having sound knowledge with analytical ability, creativity, and professional competence, we impart necessary training to our students to excel in their respective fields. The department’s excellent infrastructure, talented faculty of the best kind ensuring quality education, along with a training and placement cell ensures a bright future for its students. Combining the advantages of sound theoretical knowledge with the practical application of the same, and aided by exposure to the latest technologies molds the students into excellent engineers The department believes in the multidimensional growth of all students. Keeping the above idea in mind the department encourages students to participate in extra and co-curricular activities, sports, cultural fest, and paper presentations on technical subject’s seminars, etc… Industrial visits, regular internships which assist the student in a smooth transition from academic life to work-life is a regular feature of our department. Thus we are confident that our students will emerge as assets not only to this institution and to the organization to they belong, but also to the country at large.
The department is presently running B. E. Course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering approved, by AICTE and Affiliated to V.T.U, The department has V.T.U. recognized research center.
