The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) organized a on “GitHub” for 3rd-semester students on 19th October, 2024. As part of the workshop, a technical talk on "GitHub" introduced participants to the fundamentals of Git, repositories, and version control. The session covered key features such as forking, pull requests, and issue tracking, emphasizing best practices to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and efficiently manage projects. Attendees were empowered with the knowledge to leverage GitHub for open-source contributions and improved software development practices.
