Overview of the Club

The club aims to provide engineering students with a platform to explore, learn, and innovate in power electronics and in power systems. This would involve filling the gap between theory and practical.

Activities of the Club:

• Organizing Workshops/ Guest Lectures/ Tech talks.
• Organizing Student development programs.
• Conduct awareness programs.
• Organizing industrial visits.
• Organizing collaborative projects exhibitions.

Objectives of the Club

• To conduct periodic tech talks on the areas of power converters, inverters, motor drives, renewable energy systems, and power system protection.
• To organize workshops on the designing and building of power electronic circuits and power systems such as power supplies, converters, controllers.
• To organize guest lectures from academia and industry on the current trends, challenges, and innovations in Power Electronics and in Power Systems.
• To organize visits to power plants, manufacturing units, and research labs to get real-life experience and understand industry practices.
• To inculcate research /innovative projects and motivate publishing/presenting them in journals/conferences.
