Overview Of The Event:
The Program was organized in BITM MBA Dept on 13 th March 2024.The Mock Parliament Session is an educational initiative designed to simulate the working of a parliamentary democracy, offering students a unique opportunity to step into the roles of lawmakers and understand the intricacies of governance. This interactive learning experience helps students grasp the structure, processes, and functioning of legislative institutions while fostering critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
During the session, participants are assigned roles such as the Speaker, Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers, Members of Parliament (MPs), and Opposition Leaders. They engage in activities that mirror real parliamentary proceedings, including drafting bills, debating policies, passing resolutions, and addressing national or regional issues. The session follows a structured format akin to actual parliamentary protocols, emphasizing discipline and decorum.
