research

The department of Mechanical Engineering, BITM, Ballari, is a VTU approved R & D center from 2012. The department research center has a good number of senior faculty with vast research experience and qualification.

There are 12+ doctorates with good blend of experience in specializations like composites, additive manufacturing, maintenance engineering, concurrent engineering, condition monitoring, optimization, welding and solar thermal systems.

In the second quarter of this current academic year the R&D center has produced 07+ Scopus papers, 07+ patents conducted funded faculty development program and an international conference.
