Ballari Technology & Management (BITM) was established under the aegis of the T.E.H.R.D. Trust, Ballari, in 1997. The institution is recognized by the Government of Karnataka, approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and is an autonomous institute under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
The institute is certified with ISO 9001:2015 and accredited by NBA and NAAC with an A+ Grade. BITM plays a vital role in crafting world-class engineers and management professionals attuned to the requirements of the fast-changing technology and management world.
The Department of Management Studies (DMS) was established in 2007. DMS is certified with ISO 9001:2015 and it is accredited by NBA and NAAC with an A+ Grade and has been ranked the 53rd Top Private B-School in the South Zone by Outlook in 2023 and the 117th All India Top Private MBA Institution by Outlook in 2022. It is an autonomous institute under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.
DMS aims to develop individuals with the management talents required to shoulder challenging responsibilities in emerging corporate scenarios in the country. The broad goal is to provide students with the foundations in content and competencies that will support their development as effective managers in a variety of organizational settings. The ideology of DMS is to develop facets of management through education, training, counseling, research, and publications.
