The Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) department offers cutting-edge infrastructure and specialized labs to support academic and research excellence in electronics, communication, and computer systems. Our department library is well-stocked with textbooks, research papers, and journals, while our labs provide hands-on experience in critical areas. Key facilities include the VLSI Lab for integrated circuit design, HDL/ARM Lab for digital system and embedded ARM programming, DSP/MC Lab for signal processing and embedded applications, and Communication/Microwave and 6G Labs for advanced wireless technologies.
Additional resources like the Computer Networks Lab, System Software and OS Lab, and C Programming Lab build foundational skills in networking, system programming, and coding. The Digital Circuit Design Lab using Verilog and Analog Electronics Lab enhance expertise in digital and analog circuitry, while the Vision Group Science & Technology Lab focuses on image processing, computer vision, and AI-driven projects. VLSI Lab
The VLSI Laboratory is equipped to provide students with a robust environment for exploring VLSI Design concepts and practices. It features 25 client machines and 1 server, all powered by Intel i5 7th Gen processors, 8 GB of RAM, and 1 TB HDD.
The VLSI Lab is enhanced with the software’s: CADENCE UNIVERSITY BUNDLE – 20 Users, XILINX ISE SOFTWARE && VIVADO SOFTWARE 14.7, TANNER VLSI TOOLS V 13.11, MULTISIM & Ulti Board (professional), CHIPSCOPE PRO 6.3i with the OS RHEL 8 Series and the Hardware components: RISC-V & VLSI Education Board, Nexys 4 Artix-7 FPGA Board. The lab is well organized along with a projector display, printer, whiteboard, and internet facilities for interactive learning.
HDL/ARM Lab
The HDL/ARM Laboratory is equipped to provide students with a robust environment for exploring HDL concepts and Embedded Systems and practices.
It features 27 client machines, all powered by Intel i5 4th Gen processors, 8 GB of RAM, and 512 GB HDD. The lab is well worth prepared with the software’s: XILINX ISE SOFTWARE && VIVADO SOFTWARE 14.7, Keil (Open Source) and the Hardware components : Nexys 4 Artix-7 FPGA Board, Spartan –II Universal Board with I/F modules, Logic analyser cum Pattern generator, CPLD Trainer kits, ARM LPC 1768 Evaluation Boards. The lab is provided with a projector, printer, white board and internet facilities for interactive learning.
DSP/MC Lab
The DSP/MC Laboratory is equipped to provide students with a robust environment for exploring DSP, SP, and IP concepts and practices. It features 27 client machines with 1 server, all powered by Intel i5 6th Gen processors, 8 GB of RAM, and 512 GB HDD.
The lab is endowed with the software: MATLAB 2023 a – Campus Wire, MATLAB R2017a, DSP Toolbox & Signal Processing, Image Processing TOOL BOX, MASM (Open Source), Keil (Open Source), and the Hardware components: Microcontroller 89C61X2 Evaluation kits, DSP Starter (TMS 320) kits, MSP 430 Evaluation kits, Microprocessor 8086 Trainer kits. The lab is equipped with a projector, printer, white board and internet facility for interactive learning.
Communication/Microwave Lab /6G Lab
The Communication/Microwave Lab Laboratory is equipped to provide students with a robust environment for exploring Communication, Microwave concepts and practices. It features 18 machines with 1 server, all powered by Intel i5 6th & 7th Gen processors, 8 GB of RAM, and 512GB/1TB HDD. Equipped with the software’s: MATLAB 2023 a – Campus Wire, Lab View and the Hard wares: CRO’s, DPS, Function Generators (2MHZ/3MHz), Microwave Equipment and Antenna including S-Band and X-Band.

Computing Lab 1: Computer Networks Laboratory & System Software and Operating System
The Computer Networks Laboratory is equipped to provide students with a robust environment for exploring networking concepts and practices. It features 30 client machines, all powered by Intel i5 4th Gen processors, 16 GB of RAM, and 256 GB SSDs. The lab is equipped with a projector, white board and internet facility for interactive learning.
The System software and operating system laboratory is equipped to provide students with a robust environment for exploring learn Lexical analysis of compiler design and also operating system concepts like CPU scheduling algorithms, page replacement algorithms, deadlocks detection and avoidance algorithms.
Computing Lab 2: C Programming Lab
The Computer Programming Laboratory is equipped to provide students with a robust environment for exploring C programming. It features 30 systems, each equipped with Intel i7 4th gen processors, 8 GB RAM, and 240 GB hard drives. The lab is equipped with a projector, white board and internet facility for interactive learning.
Digital Circuit Design using Verilog Lab
Digital Circuit Design using Verilog Lab is equipped to provide students with a robust environment for exploring hardware and software experiments. It features 05 systems, providing students with hands-on exposure to software experiments. The lab is equipped with Digital IC Trainer Kits, Linear IC Trainer Kits, Digital IC Tester, Linear IC Tester, 8085 Trainer Kits, and projector & white board.
Analog Electronic Circuits Laboratory
In Analog Electronic Circuit Lab is equipped to provide students with a robust environment for exploring hardware and software experiments. It features 05 systems, providing students with hands-on exposure to software experiments. The lab is equipped CRO, Signal Generator, Power Supply, Power Electronics Modules and with a white board.
Vision Group Science & Technology Lab (VGST Lab)
The VGST laboratory is equipped to provide students with a robust environment for practical implementation and usage of an Arduino board & different IOT sensors.
This lab course strengthens the ability of the students to identify and apply suitable data for the given real-world problem. It features ZENITH Systems (07 No’s) (Intel H61 Original Mother-Board i5 Processor-3330 3 GHz, 3rd Generation, 4GB RAM, 500 GB HDD, 22 inch Wide TFT Monitor, DVD Writer, Intel HD Graphics 10/100/1000 Gigabit and also HP Systems (05 no’s) (Core i5 Processor Original server mother board,4GB RAM, 500 GB HDD,18.5inch TFT Monitor, DVD Writer). In the ACER P1163 Projector 3000 ANSI Lumens along with interactive Panel. The lab is also used to carry out the Mini Projects.
Classrooms
The department has eight classrooms which are bright, spacious and well-lit, designed to enhance learning with large windows and ceiling lights. A CCTV camera is installed in every classroom for security and monitoring.
A large interactive green/black board along with a ceiling-mounted LCD projector displays and Wi-Fi connectivity for innovative- interactive learning for all students. Every classroom has complete power backup facility.
Seminar Hall
The Department has a well-equipped seminar hall with a seating capacity of 100. It features a complete audio-visual system providing facility for Department’s meetings, student club activities, seminars, and project presentations.
