This traditional Hindu festival, primarily observed in South India, honors tools, instruments, machinery, and vehicles for their vital role in daily life and work. Celebrated on the ninth day of Navaratri, participants clean, decorate, and offer prayers to their tools as a gesture of gratitude. The rituals include chanting mantras, applying turmeric and vermillion, and offering flowers and fruits to seek blessings for prosperity, success, and protection. The festival promotes respect for knowledge and craftsmanship, emphasizing the importance of tools in enhancing productivity and facilitating work.
