TALENT BOARD

Two main purposes of this facility is to provide a platform to the students wherein they may query their doubts related to curriculum and get replies from the students and staff of any other institution.

Talent Board serves as an online magazine. The creativity of the students will be brought out here by publishing the articles written by students, it will also create interest in the student to visit the Internet website of other Engg. Colleges.

On this board, select articles written by students, both literary and technical are displayed for some time to be read by all.

A search facility will also be provided from this site to hop to any other institution's talent board directly.

Thus, this facility provides an opportunity for all the students to exchange their ideas and the students can use this page as a big magazine, with the search facility.

Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs/ improvements

We have a procedure to conducting MR/ Principal Meetings, where VP, all the Department HODs, Other members of the different activities will discuss regarding the Policy, Procedure, monitoring of the Institutional academic activities.

Faculty are involved in upgrading themselves in different areas like; pursuing higher qualification, attending seminars, conferences, workshops, for the improvement of quality education, the students and staff are involved in the establishment of the Scientific societies like; Quantum Society, Vaiseshika, etc., Conducting the programme for personality & carrier improvement.

The college has a system of electing Class Representative, who represents the class for all the requirements, for the improvements in the academic and other extra curricular activities.

QUANTUM:

A student organization working within the college campus aimed at exploring the hidden talents among the students of the college. It is an effort towards bettering the knowledge edge of the would be engineers; conferring on them a more versatile attitude. It is well recognized that the degree for an engineer is merely a qualification that permits him to be a part of the society but it is the personal self that identifies the person. The Quantum clubs color-o-nical, Nitya Mandalam, Celeste (Theatre) and symphony command the creative lot in you; provides a platform for the artist in you, club "Brain Rocklers" strengthens your hold on general knowledge and allows the creator in you to speak out at the fullest through activities such as quizzing, debating, etc.,

The college magazine, the immediate voice of the students is well guarded by the o-pag-de, the editorial board of the magazine. The technical edge is kept updated by the "Technisium" that primarily holds seminars and exhibitions pertaining to current newsmakers of the scientific world and adding a new flavor to the euphoria is the college's rock bank that is nothing else but symphony.

Vaiseshika:

It is a forum of Electronics & Communication Engg., students to bring out their talents by organizing Quiz, Debate competition, Group Discussion, Elocution, Drawing competition, Chart Exhibition, Invited Technical Talk, etc. It is the flat form for the students to give the scope for all round personality development along with the curriculum.

Bhoomika:

'Bhoomika'- Quarterly magazine
The College Magazine encourages the students to contribute their in the form of Articles – Technical / Non-technical, literary articles, Poems, Drawings / Cartoons / Paintings, Jokes, etc. This helps the students to enhance their personality, exchange of ideas, creativity, communication skills, etc.,

Apart from this, it acts as a news bureau, which collects & publishes the information about various activities / seminars / competitions / celebrations being held & various programs conducted by the College.

The Magazine is headed by the Director, who is the Chief Editor. The Editorial board comprises of the Editor, Asst. Editor, Staff & Student members from each department.

The magazine news bulletin is distributed among the students. It has a huge reader base, which includes all Engineering Colleges of Karnataka.
