HOSTEL FACILITY (Boys / Girls)

Well furnished “Gents Hostel” is located in the college campus named as “TUNGA BLOCK”, with 83 Rooms and in each room 03 students will be accommodated. It has all the necessary facilities.
As well as a well furnished “Girls Hostel” is located at Sanjay Gandhinagar, Bellary with in the city limits and transportation facility is available from Hostel to College Campus with all the facilities.
BITM can boast of well furnished hostels with modern facilities separately for Boys and Girls. The hostels are ideally suited for studies, spacious rooms, lounges, TV, etc., with hygienic, healthy and clean kitchen to provide nutrition food to the wards and parental care, the student friendly wardens round the clock is provided.
The student joining the Hostel can obtain an application from the office at the time of admission and the filled application along with copy of the admission fee receipt & ID card should be submitted to the Hostel Manager and he will allot the room by consulting the Principal / AO, depending on the availability, hostel will be opened from August / September and will be closed for annual holidays after the examinations.
Once a student is allotted a room, he / she will be issued an Identity card.
1. The following facilities will be provided at the Hostel.

Rooms will be daily sweeped & cleaned by the servant. |

Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. |

Gym, Recreation Room & Play ground. |
Rules & Regulations*:

No out side persons will be allowed to stay in the Hostel. |

Students should bring their own bed, pillow & bed sheets. |

Students should themselves clean their beds & wash by themselves. |

Every student should be in the Hostel by 8.00 PM |

The students themselves should replace room bulbs. |

Hostel Rent of Rs.10,000.00 (Rupees ten thousand only) per annum to be paid in advance before admission to Hostel, which is non-refundable. |

Every student should pay a Caution Deposit of Rs.3,000.00 (Rupees Three thousand only) at the time of admission into Hostel, the same will be refunded after completion of the Course. This advance is for Boarding arrears and cost of damages, if any, |

Rs.3,000.00 (Rupees three thousand only) should be paid towards the Hostel Development Fees, which is not refundable. |

An additional of Rs.3,000.00 (Rupees three thousand only) should be paid towards the Maintenance charges (Electricity & Water) per annum. |

The Girl’s Hostel students has to pay Rs.6,000.00 (Rupees six thousand) per annum towards the Transportation Facility. |

In case the student wants to vacate the hostel prior information to the Principal / Warden should be taken before 03 months in writing along with Parents approval. Hostel Rent will not be refunded. Any damage to the furniture & fixtures will be recovered from the respective students. |

Right of admission to the Hostel is restricted except the students of Bellary Engineering College, Bellary & Sanjay Gandhi Polytechnic, Bellary. |

Hostel premises & the surrounding area should be kept clean & the student should maintain dignity in the premises as well as with the surrounding citizens. |

14. Mess charges should be paid before 5th of every month. In case of non-payment, mess facility will be deprived & the due will be recovered from student/parents. |

Hostel Manager will be appointed by the Trust, who is responsible for Hostel Administration. |

Playing cards, drinking or other illegal activity is forbidden in the Hostel, if any body found indulging the above activities will be dismissed/ debarred from the Hostel. |

Management is not responsible in case of personal involvement in illegal activities. Such students will be debarred from the Hostel immediately without prior notice. |

Students who would like to travel to their native places have to take permission from the Principal / Warden with a request letter from the parents & they should register their names with the Warden while going to their native places. This is mandatory. Students who are violating the same will be debarred from the Hostel. |

Management is not responsible for personal damages, etc., |

No Ragging in the Hostel. |

Transportation :
Eleven College buses ply between different points of the City to the College Campus at a cost of Rs.6000.00 per annum. (Subject to Revision)s
Canteen :
The College has a Canteen inside the campus. The canteen remains open on all working days.
