Discipline

*
Any violation of the rules & regulation either by an individual or by the team shall be liable for the disciplinary action.
*
Dignity of conduct is an expected norm from all students of the College. They are expected to abide by the dress code while working in laboratories to avoid accidents. Those not conforming to the disciplinary norms may be required to leave the College.

Attendance

*
All admitted students should maintain a minimum attendance of 85% in each subject.
*
Up to 10% of attendance relaxation may be granted by the Principal under the following situations;
 
a)
when student has participated for Sports & Games organized by College / University (as per the recommendations of the Physical Director),
 
b)
when the student faces ill health (as per recommendation of registered medical practitioner),
 
c)
when student participates for student conference and seminars at other institutions (by submitting recommendation letter from the concerned Head of the Departments and attendance certificate of participation).
 
d)
when students participate for the Off Campus recruitment (by producing the interview participation details issued by the Placement Officer).
*
If the student fails to fulfill the above terms & conditions, such students will be detained as per university guidelines.
*
Regular attendance for laboratories is very much required, since time available is very short for each semester.
*
Fines related to attendance will be charged as & when notified.
*
The detained students are required to take readmission to the same class in the next academic year.
a)
All the students are required to be available at the institute between the working hours as declared by the college and they have to participate in seminars / games / sports and other extra curricular activities.
 
b)
All the certificates related to the attendance should be submitted to the Vice Principal for consideration.

Note: The students are advised to collect College Receipt for all the payments made in cash / DD and keep in a safe custody. College is not responsible for no proof of receipt.

Promotion & Eligibility for the Examination:
There shall not be any restriction for promotion from odd semester to even semester, provided the candidate has fulfilled the attendance requirement.

A candidate is eligible for promotion from even semester to odd semester (i.e., to the next academic year) provided, the candidate has not failed in more than four heads of passing of the immediately preceding two semesters and has passed in al the subjects of all the still lower semester examinations. A theory or practical shall be treated as a head of passing, for example;

a.
A candidate seeking eligibility to 3rd semester should not have failed in more than 4 heads of passing of first and second semester taken together.
b.
A candidate seeking eligibility to 5th semester should have passed in all the subjects of 1st and 2nd semesters and should not have failed in more than 4 heads of passing of third and fourth semesters taken together.
c.
A candidate seeking eligibility to 7th semester should have passed in all the subjects upto 4th semester and should not have failed in more than 4 heads of passing of fifth & sixth semesters taken together.

Internal Exam:

a)
In each semester, three internal exams will be conducted to evaluate the students periodically.
b)
The students are required to write all the internals compulsorily.
c).
The students are provided with a Hall Ticket.
d).
Internal exam carries a weightage of 20%.
e).
The minimum marks to be scored in an internal test is 15 marks.
f).
Average of best of two internal exams will be considered for awarding of final marks.
g).
No separate exam will be conducted for any student under any condition.
h).
For each student separate blue book will be issued to write the exam.
i).
Students who have cleared all the dues are eligible to write the internal examination.
j).
Internal assessment marks will be notified within a week.
k).
Students can go through their answer booklets after valuation and any discrepancies can be brought to the notice of the concerned faculty.
l).
Final marks at the end of the semester will be notified and any clerical mistake can be brought to the notice of the concerned faculty immediately.
m).
Any kind of malpractice is not allowed in the internal examinations.

External Exam:

a).
Every student will be allotted with a University Number at the time of first semester, i.e., 3BR08…. …
b).
This University Number continues for the entire course and there will not be any change unless other wise student changes the branch or college.
c).
All eligible students with respect to attendance are eligible to register examination.
d).
All the eligible candidates are required to submit the examination application and necessary fees at the examination section, before the last date. Late application will carry fine and after the last date no application will be processed.
e).
Students are required to collect the hall tickets from the Examination Section.
f).
Any breakage charges notified by the Department / Office and any further dues pending should be cleared before collection of the hall tickets.
g).
University will notify the detailed exam schedule well in advance, in order to enable the student to prepare for the examinations.
h).
Students who are writing the examination have to follow the guidelines of the University for smooth conduct of the examination.
